  1. Hi teammates and support personnel! It was so good to see many of you at the Fitger's Reception. The teammates that were able to make it looked so pretty! I have been very, very busy with balancing work, college classes (2 this quarter), my fitness times at Curves, meetings, and usual housecleaning, cooking, studying some more, etc. I feel so good about where I'm at with my program; I know I have lost one whole dress size and have received compliments from friends and co-workers. I will be anxious to see what my final measurements will be..sure hope it shows in the numbers? This whole experience has been so good for me and many of my co-workers are now making positive changes for their health.
Our Go Red For Women Day was a great success! We had a table with handouts on the heart, blood pressure, exercising, recipes, and more. We also gave a nice but inexpensive gift to anyone that wore red (both genders involved). We made snacks that were heart healthy. Everyone voted to make this an annual event!
This whole experience has helped my self-esteem by reminding me that if I put my mind to it; goals are attainable! I am looking forward to continuing my program with the hopes that I will lose another pants size and treat myself to a new outfit for spring. (smiles)

  3. Hi teammates...was thinking today just how far we have all come and how hard we have all worked to get to where we are today....those of you that have little children or babies at home; I salute you because I remember those days when my sons were little and how hard it was to take time for myself without feeling too guilty? I admire you gals very much and say great job! It would give me great joy to be able to stay in touch with everyone after Wednesday..it will be a good support system for us all.. Have agreat weekend everyone and see you soon! Your friend and teammate..Ronda Estey
PS: Does anyone have Erin's phone number (hair stylist??)

  4. Can you all believe that our luncheon is only 2 days away? Wow, it is both sweet and bittersweet because it has been not only a beginning for us in alot of ways it is also a closure of a great program for this year. I have been trying hard to find a dress to wear and it was hard because I was hoping the tummy fluff would be all gone by now? smiling... I am so excited and happy that two of my very good friends Anna and Cec will be attending the luncheon with me; they have been like coaches, cheerleaders and more like sisters to me....I am very grateful to them for their support. I was looking at the scale at Curves the other day and got alittle worried that I wasn't losing more weight but my trainer reminded me that I started one month later than everyone else so what I have lost for 2 months only is an awesome place to be and I still have one more month for sure to lose....That made me happy! Looking forward to seeing you all Wednesday...miss you all my friends...Ronda

  5. If anyone has the phone number for Ultra...would love to get it from you? I wasn't able to attend the hair appointment for getting my hair done by Erin or the makeup trial session but I did color my own hair and will call to give information about my makeup. Erin told me she will be able to style our hair on Wednesday so looking forward to that! That is one downside to this program in that if you don't live in Duluth it kindof limits choices and participation especially if everything is held in Duluth?? I guess that would be one huge recommendation would be is to align services for hair and makeup, weigh-ins, lab tests nearest the particpant's home? I am very appreciative of everything the Go Red Program has done. Been fun!!!! Respectfully, Ronda
